I was unsure if I wanted to make a visit to the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, because I’ve only been to a few rodeos. I was pleasantly surprised of how much I enjoyed this museum, and all the historic artifacts, artwork, photos, etc. I really appreciated the stories of the hundreds of men and women who have participated in the various rodeo events, and the stories behind these people. The facility is awesome, and much larger than I expected.

There is a lot of interesting stuff even for people like I, who have never seen real rodeo shows. The museum is very big. There is a beautiful area in the backyard: small "lake" and sculptures and life horses on the fence.

Tickets are $10 for an adult and $9 for seniors. Well worth it! We got to see two horses with their babies. Enjoyed the 15 min video presentation/educational about the rodeo. Lots to see!

I'm very thankful this place exists because I love everything that has to do with rodeos! So many cool things here, I highly recommend visiting if you're planning on being in the Colorado Springs area! Something that was really cool is they have a sort of scavenger hunt that you can do that not only gets you to really read and look at everything, but if you are able to find what they tell you to, you win a prize at the gift shop! So make sure you participate in that right after getting your admission ticket! The amount of history and items in each display case are amazing! You can also go outside and see more out there including a few retired, but still beautiful as ever, horses along with their baby horses! You can't pet them though, but that doesn't matter, just being able to see these beautiful creatures in person so close is worth it! It wasn't crowded when we visited which was great! You should definitely come here and experience everything this great place has to offer!

My dad and I had a great time at this museum. I am so glad it's here, and there was a lot to enjoy about it. I think the building and exhibits definitely need some updating, and I think the museum could stand to have a little more going on. A little more kinetic energy. There's only so much reading one can do before everything starts to look the same. ?
I wish there were more interactive elements, like saddles you could sit in, or some videos showing how all of these events look.
Speaking of videos, the 15 minute video wasn't working when we went.
There's a lot for this museum to offer, especially for rodeo fans. It was definitely more "hall of fame" and less of a true museum, and I'm sure it would be the most interesting to people who know a lot of rodeo history already.

Awesome museum and hidden gem in the springs. Learn the history of rodeo and events. Tons of relics, buckles, saddles and such and kids will have a great time too. Bring the whole family. Tickets are reasonable too.

If you are a rodeo fan this is the ultimate museum destination.

Exhibits on persons in the action: riders, ropers, clowns, beauty queens.

Exhibits on behind the scenes: announcers, agents, event coordinator's.

They have outfits, saddles, belt buckles, banners.

Sculptures & paintings, portraits.

There is a 15min video on the history of rodeo with explanation on rules of riding & roping.

The place is huge and all encompassing.

Gift shop is not much after all that, just some shirts, mugs. Small. Nothing, to me that would be an exciting keepsake.

If you are not at all interested in the sport of rodeo, you will be bored.
